Ken is a very kind teacher who is good at really listening for the specific singer´s potential. I also know younger singers that study with him and he points the attention of students towards all the aspects of the musicianship (phrasing, meaning of the text, required body or mind working and the overall musicality). He is working thoroughly on both technique and artistry and he has a solid knowledge of the bel canto technique that I haven´t met anywhere else, not even in Italy.
I have worked with Kenneth Querns-Langley as my singing coach since June 2022 and, during the early spring and summer this year, more intensely. I have worked professionally as an opera singer since 2009 in mainly Scandinacia, Germany, and Italy and I have met many coaches and singing teachers over the years.

He creates a space where the student feels safe and he remembers and continues the work that was initiated in previous sessions.
As of mid-August 2023 (besides my freelancing) I am working as a singing teacher at the music conservatories in both Esbjerg and Odense, Denmark (SDMK, Denmark) and I will still gladly use Ken as my external ear. I give Ken my best recommendations and am ready to share more on request.
