This masterful understanding of the voice allows him to help his students build their instruments and express their full potential. I started with Ken three years ago as a complete beginner with a lot of enthusiasm but no usable range at all! In this time, thanks to Ken I have been able to develop my Tenor voice to the point where I feel very confident and knowledgable about what it is that I am doing. I have now more than 2 octaves of usable range and can hit high notes with ease in a varieties of ways. This has only been possible thanks to Ken’s genuine interest in building my instrument with me without any preconceptions and thanks to his clear and objective explanations of what was happening at each step in terms of vocal mechanics. As a native Italian speaker, I also greatly admire his command of Italian and his dedication to transmitting the Bel Canto technique. Finally, Ken’s dedication to his students is incredible; he builds a real Maestro-pupil relationship which goes beyond the actual singing practice.
